Ryan Nadick’s practice focuses primarily on representing individual and corporate debtors with respect to all of their restructuring needs, both in and out of court.

Prior to joining The Schwartz Law Firm, Mr. Nadick earned extensive experience representing debtors in all aspects of their Chapter 11 proceedings, which includes preparing debtors for filing bankruptcy, and through the consummation of their ultimate Chapter 11 plans of reorganization, and all points in-between. Some of Mr. Nadick’s prior Chapter 11 representations include, among others, United Artists, Bally Total Fitness, United Airlines, Jillian’s Entertainment, Focal Communications, Conseco, Polymer Group and FV Steel and Wire Company.

In addition to representing Chapter 11 debtors, Mr. Nadick also represented lenders, borrowers and sponsors in multimillion dollar finance transactions, including the negotiating and drafting of credit agreements, security agreements, guaranties and many other finance related agreements. A sampling of lenders and borrowers which Mr. Nadick has represented include Chase, Credit Suisse, General Electric, Wachovia, Morgan Stanley, Cardinal Health, Apollo Group, Advocate Healthcare and Carlyle. Mr. Nadick’s experience in both front end finance transactions and restructuring matters gives him the unique ability to examine each client’s financial needs from all perspectives in order to determine which restructuring path is the best.

Mr. Nadick attended both the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and he received his Juris Doctor from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Mr. Nadick is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
